Gamification Program Options
Bunchball offers several different options you can use to create a gamification program. These options allow different levels of customization and require development resources to be minimally or highly involved.
-
Nitro Impact - A pre-configured gamification solution contained in a single block that can be styled and embedded on your site.
-
Bunchball Go - A pre-configured dashboard containing select web components and blocks.
-
Web Components and Blocks - Graphical elements that can be moderately customized by administrators and embedded on your site.
-
RESTFul APIs - APIs that allow you to create a fully customized site.
Some programs will use a combination of blocks or web components and APIs to leverage out-of-the-box features with customized elements. All programs are integrated with a Nitro instance to manage the program's configuration, users, and reporting.
Minimal Customization: Nitro Impact
Nitro Impact is a comprehensive solution that showcases our best-in-class engagement strategies within a dashboard that's desktop and mobile responsive, built to ADA and WCAG accessibility standards, and localizable for a global audience. Impact features a sophisticated AI driven mission recommendation engine that serves users program content relevant to them.
Impact is a plug-in ready block with flexibility over styling and labeling. As the block evolves, your program automatically receives updates in line with the overall Nitro platform.
This program type allows minimal customization and requires development resources to embed the block and to send actions to Nitro.

Minimal Customization: Bunchball Go
Bunchball Go is a standalone, mobile-responsive gamification solution hosted and managed by BI WORLDWIDE. Participants log in and interact with the program via an HTML-based website that is not native to your website. Many actions, such as logins, page views, and click-throughs are sent to Nitro via the web components and blocks.
Bunchball Go contains pre-configured web components and blocks that you can style to meet your program needs. You can choose from a mobile or desktop design configuration depending on your target audience. Bunchball Go can be used globally but only supports localization of program content, not web components or blocks.
This program type allows minimal customization and requires no development resources unless you want to authenticate via SSO or to send additional actions to Nitro.

Moderate Customization: Web Components and Blocks
Web components and blocks are graphical elements that can be configured by administrators and then embedded within a customer hosted website. To participants, these elements look native to your website. All actions are sent to Nitro via API or data import.
Web components and blocks are plug-in ready with flexibility over styling, labeling, and functional configuration. As web components and blocks evolve, your program automatically receives updates in line with the overall Nitro platform.
This program type allows moderate customization and requires development resources to configure and embed the web components and blocks and to send actions to Nitro.

Full Customization: RESTFul APIs
Nitro APIs can be accessed via any programming language supporting HTTPS protocol. These APIs are used to leverage all the capabilities of the Nitro platform to create custom elements within a customer hosted website. To participants, these elements look native to your website. All actions are sent to Nitro via API.
APIs allow full customization of your UI, but do not automatically show changes as platform updates are released.
This program requires development resources to develop the UI, send actions to Nitro, and provide ongoing maintenance as program updates become available.
